The Compound and Mixing Process

The ingredients for a rubber batch are carefully weighed using computer controlled electronic scales and a check weighing system to ensure the specified ingredients are used in the correct amount. This computer system eliminates the possibility of human error and provides for batch consistency. Once the ingredients have been weighed they are mixed together in our computer controlled Banbury Mixer which employs advanced mixing technology for consistent and controlled rubber batches. After the batch of rubber is mixed it is discharged onto our 100” mill and blended through a stock blender to enhance the product quality. Finally, before being released to production, each batch of rubber stock is subjected to diagnostic testing in our on-site laboratory. Only after extensive testing and being approved by our laboratory is the rubber stock released into production.
