About Us
Mid-States Rubber Products, Inc. was founded in 1944 when George Eykamp, a former Goodyear employee, purchased a small rubber factory in Evansville, Indiana, from a company that was closed by the war.
With an initial work force of just seven employees, the new enterprise quickly became part of Evansville’s W.W.II production force, manufacturing rubber parts for US Army aircraft. When the war ended, Mid-States Rubber Products turned its expertise into the production of components for the fast-growing appliance industry.
In 1958, the company moved its operations from Evansville to Princeton, Indiana, and embarked on a pattern of steady growth. Today, the company has approximately 350 dedicated employees who manufacture components for a variety of applications, including appliances, consumer goods, automobiles, power equipment, telecommunications, thermoplastic products, and others.
Still family-owned and privately held, Mid-States Rubber Products remains dedicated to its long-standing mission of providing high quality rubber parts and materials to customers in North America and throughout the world.
